An entrepreneur at heart, Doug was a man of many passions. Out of all of his accomplishments, his favorite was creating the Riverside International Automotive Museum (RIAM). Sadly, he lost a short battle with cancer and passed away February 4, 2015 at the age of 55. Growing up, he regularly attended races at the Riverside International Raceway before it shuttered in 1988. His passion for cars led him and his father to establish the museum to preserve the racing heritage that many of us are unaware of. In honor of his memory, the foundation is focused on preserving the that history and to continuously improve the city in ways that would reflect his interests.
